Friday night Gary's mom (Debbie) and Gary's Brother (Stephen) came over so we could go out to G's Birthday dinner. Jessica had her x-mas party so she couldn't make it :( We were going to try a new spot that we had driven by many times called Radcliffe's in Corona. We got there and it was not at all what we were expecting. So we left and headed to Mill Creek (tried and true, go there all the time) Great atmosphere and awesome food.
Unfortunately for me, around dinner time I haven't been that hungry. I eat all day long and am getting enough calories, but around dinner I just have zero appetite. I ended up bringing all my leftovers home (which G ate the next day for lunch)
Saturday we ran a few errands and went on a hunt to find Gary his perfect heavy winter leather jacket for his bike. Believe it or not it gets cold here in CA! The rest of the afternoon I was beat so we just hung out at home and watched some movies. It was so cold out and so windy, there was no better place to be!
As a sales incentive for the sales people at my work, if they meet their goals than the whole company gets 100 bucks, cash. Friday my company had a meeting and they went over all of our numbers with us, telling us that we are just barley breaking even and probably not to expect much for bonuses this year. That's OK with me, I'm just grateful to have a job! Plus, my bosses are VERY good to me all year round. No complaints here! Anyway, they ended up giving everyone two hundred bucks. I was so stoked! I was dreaming about what I could go spend it on. I mean, two hundred bucks! Free and clear! I could spend it on myself without feeling guilty...and buy anything that I wanted. We were under specific instructions to spend it and to put it back into the economy ;) So that brings me up to today. I went shopping with the intent to buy myself something nice. I honestly never get to do that. I tried, I really tried to find something I wanted to buy for myself but I just couldn't. Ok, I take that back....I bought 2 shirts. Not even close to my two hundred dollar budget. I was getting irritated and frustrated that I wasn't finding anything.
I switched gears. I went to a few stores with OTHER people in mind and my shopping experience got a whole lot better! I also gave a 92 year old woman in line at Target some money to help cover the rest of her transaction. It made me feel good to be doing something nice for someone else. She was very appreciative and I love helping older people out! I spend my entire two hundred bucks on Christmas gifts. I left with my wallet empty, my car full and a huge smile on my face.
I'm 10 weeks along now. Here are some belly pics!
Just barely starting to show...

Congratulations cuz! It's really easy to spend money on the baby.
